Help us, help you promote your Mar-Delicious watermelons grown on your farm and/or supplies. Mar-Del is funded primarily by donations generated by its members and monies raised at the auction during our annual two-day convention which supports the queen program, advertising campaign, development, and scholarships for future agriculture career students. 

Educational Seminars

Growers Seminar offer free to paid members during our annual convention. Industry leaders speak on topics such as food safety, research results, disease research, legislative and regulatory issues.  

Research & Development

Monies are committed to our local universities to fund industry production research needs, farming and/or growing improvements and value-added research. 

Our budget committee allocates funds on advertising through various outlets such as: Radio, Television, Billboards, Beach resort buses & trams, Social Media, Lifeguard Stands, MPT “Farm to Harvest”. Sponsorships may vary year to year.
