2026 Growers Seminar
This one-day educational program is designed for watermelon growers and agricultural professionals across the Delmarva region. The seminar features research updates and practical guidance from University of Delaware Extension on watermelon varieties, pest management, and Fusarium wilt control, along with a regulatory refresher on watermelon bus requirements from Delaware and Maryland DOT.
Afternoon sessions expand beyond production to address farmer well-being, fraud awareness for farm businesses, and an update on Mar-Del’s social media promotions.
This program offers recertification credits to help prepare for the season ahead. Registration is free with paid Mar-Del Watermelon Association membership, using the link above.
